Hi

I just installed the trial version of ultimate link verifier bot.

I ran the cron for rapidshare links on a particular user in a particular forum. I was able to see as it performed the task that some of the links were dead and in some threads, all of the links were dead

I gave the setting as 100% dead = move to recycle bin and close thread.

The bot did not move/close the thread.

Also the link color did not change to red/green etc when I visited the thread.

Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Hello Uday,

As you've changed the critical limit to "100", then this means that your posts will not be flagged as punished & will never moved to the trash bin if there's only one alive link within. Please read setting's description carefully & tell me if you need any assistance.
Regarding thread's title color, it will never changed. This product doesn't affect thread's title colors. There may have some conflict understanding product's features. Those "Link status color" settings are for reports displayed & sent after bot check. Please read setting's description carefully.
Don't hesitate to ask for any required help, but first please review product's settings carefully as it should be clear & straight forward & help you understand it right.

thanks for reply

i have it set to 100 and all links are dead in the thread. Still it did not move

Regarding changing link colors after checking, is this something planned for future?

It will be awesome, if all alive links are green and dead links are shown in red.

Because in my forums, members post same file in multiple servers like hotfile, rapidshare and megaupload. If rapidshare links are dead, but megaupload and hotfile are alive, then I would not want to move the post to archives, instead the link checker should edit the post and change color of live links to green and dead links to red.

Don't you think this is better?

I would surely buy as soon as trial expires if this feature can be included

Hello Uday,

Most -if not all- suggestions you've mentioned already added as feature requests HERE, and will be implemented in an upcoming featured release :). (http://forum.phpkd.net/project.php?do=issuelist&projectid=2&issuetypeid=feature)

is there an anticipated date of release for the next release?

I know it is wrong to ask this question, but even a very vague timeline would suffice for me .. please :)

Hello Uday,

Your question is welcomed.
Yes, the next featured release would be produced around the forth quarter of this month, or early the next month April .
It's supposed to be a new generation with multiple new features and advanced level of options, it will be the shocking surprise .
